So long...

From the looks at this assigned entry, it's now time to say goodbye. I really enjoy blogging. I blog on my own outside of this class because I like having an outlet. I don't use blogger but it really doesn't matter what website you use as long as you can talk about the things you want to talk about and voice your opinions. Blogs have always been to me a virtual journal. I used to keep journals and diaries when I was little and I still write an occasional entry in a journal but my blog, on Tumblr, really helps me through when I just want to vent. On here, it was nice to be able to talk about the things that we would discuss and watch in class and really get a chance to think about all of it. I took the assigned entries seriously but sometimes the personal ones, not so much. I think it was because I never knew what to write about or maybe it was that nothing spectacular had occurred to me that week so I was at a loss as to what I should blog about.
I learned a lot from other students blogs about their thoughts and views on topics we had discussed as well as other things they may have posted about. I learned more on the subjects that were posed in class because I had to write and really think about it to come up with more of a detailed answer. I now know what pink slime is and I am going to start looking for labels on food that say this is a replica of original meat.
I think it was useful in the sense that I've stated before; we all get an outlet to say what we really think on these topics. In class discussions, the ones that speak are the ones who have either the courage or care. But because it was assigned, we had to write something down and so now you've heard from everyone in the class about the topic and there is a certain perspective from everyone.
Maybe in the rubric, you could mention that putting up pictures and making more than just words come out is what gets those 25 points. I mean the rubric is pretty straight forward so I don't know what else there is to add.
Other comments.....? Too legit to quit.

peace out scouts.
